The Art of Barcelona, Abbey Montserrat & Dali’s Figueres Our suggested itinerary features return scheduled flights to Barcelona, four nights at the 4* Catalonia Berna Hotel in Barcelona, with all excursions included, guided tours at all museums and galleries and the services of a Tailored Travel tour manager. Day 1 – Barcelona Scheduled flight to Barcelona – transfer with our tour manager in our private executive coach to the 4* Catalonia Berna Hotel. Day 2 – Barcelona guided tour, Parc Guell, La Sagrada Familia & Picasso Museum Guided coach tour of Gaudi’s Barcelona – Gaudi’s Parc Guell, commissioned by Eusebi Guell who wanted to create a stylish park for Barcelona aristocracy, was built between 1910 and 1914 and is now a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most popular visitor attractions of the city – travel on to the church of La Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s great unfinished masterpiece – Casa La Pedrera (Casa Mila) is the apartment block which is Gaudi’s greatest contribution to Barcelona’s civic architecture – a photo stop at Casa Batllo to see Gaudi’s trademark chimneys – after lunch a guided tour of the Picasso Museum. Day 3 – Figueres & Museo Teatro Travel to Figueres, the home town of Salvador Dali – a guided tour of the Museo Teatro, founded in 1974 and now the most visited museum in Spain, which not only houses works by the great artist but is also the site of his mausoleum.

Day 4 – Abbey Montseratt & Fundacio Miro Travel to Abbey Montseratt, nearly one thousand years old and still a working Benedictine monastery – guided tour of the Fundacio Miro, a permanent collection of graphics, paintings and statues by the surrealist artist Joan Miro. Day 5 – Barcelona Morning at leisure to explore Barcelona – transfer to the airport for our scheduled flight back home.
