The project was co-funded by the company and the customer, to enhance and convert the Inventory Allocation module to a client/server application. 5/93 - 9/01 E3 Corporation (Acquired by JDA) Manager of Professional Services: Responsible for managing a team of software developers to implement revenue-generating, customer specific enhancements, for E3â€™s inventory replenishment product lines. Enhancements of strategic value to E3 would be incorporated into the product as a part of future releases. As the first manager of this new department for E3, I built the department from ground up including selecting and acquiring talented resources from inside and outside the company. I set standards and procedures in place for this new department. Other responsibilities included working with the Marketing Department and customers on scoping and developing the pricing and SOW, allocating resources, developing project plans, setting milestones, and managing and tracking the progress of the projects. Manager of Product Development: Responsible for managing the team that developed and maintained E3â€™s successful retail inventory replenishment product line: SLIM. Accomplishments included managing the development and release to market of several revisions of software for different environments and technologies, ranging from multi user environment to a client-server environment. Other accomplishments included managing the development of new modules to E3â€™s wholesale inventory replenishment product line: TRIM.
