10M AP shooting basics 1.1 Basic stance aiming area and sight picture.

Aiming area should underneath the 7 ring Which is so called sub 6 o’clock holding.

The rear sight and the target (black area) should be fuzzy only the front sight is clear. Focusing on the front sight only! Stick your non-shooting hand (thumb) into the belt buckle

Stance

Center of the gravity should be in between your feet and slightly towards the back foot.

How to adjust the stance

1 Start with your most comfortable natrual stance

Adjust to the right: With your front foot keep in place, move the back foot to the left. Then repeat the whole proccess all over until seeing the right sight picture 3.

Close your eyes

2 Raise your arm and settle in the Aiming area

Stance and group show on target It is very important to find the correct stance. Otherwise when firing your body will automaticlly adjust to the most natural position! The correct stance is where the center of the body with your arm fully extended meets your POA.

Then open your eyes Your will see these possible sight pictures

The contact point of your trigger finger and the trigger should be the first pad of your finger. And the base of the finger nail should in the middle of the trigger shoe. When you check this make sure the gun is not cocked or loaded. Safety first!!

Some pressure on your palm. If you can not feel any pressure palm shelf needs to be adjusted!

First pick the gun up from the middle with your non-shooting hand. Then place your shooting hand into the grip. carefully line up the barrel/sight line with your arm. The whole gun should be the straight extension of your arm!

Then place your trigger finger onto the trigger check alignment! The trigger finger should be lined up with the gun by side. And the second joint should be 90 degree with the center line of the gun.

When you raise the gun if the grip is correct you will feel pressure at these points (marked with red circle) If there is any other pressure that means either you have a wrong grip or the grip need to be adjusted or shaped.

Rest the gun on the table Take several deep breathe.

Raise the gun...... at the same time inhale deeply. Stop raising when the gun over the pellet trap.

Lower the gun and settle in aiming And at the same time exhale slowly after the front sight reaches the aiming area hold your breathe

If you don’t feel confident enough to let off the shot put the gun down and start all over again!

Squeeze off the shot and continue aiming don’t put the gun down!
