Course aim The aim of this course is to give candidates a significant advantage in both finding and keeping work in retail. We have included a broad foundation of skills, covering many more than just those specific to the retail industry, in order to target more of the difficulties our target groups have in entering the job market. For those who want to progress in retail, the customer service segment of the course provides a foundation for the BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service and the BREC Certificate in Retail Knowledge. The qualification is also the knowledge and understanding element within the Customer Service Apprenticeship.
