Bangkok- City of Angels The local name for Bangkok is Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (City of Angels). The Flower Market is the biggest fresh flower market in Bangkok with all kinds of flowers including orchids, lilies and roses. The prices are incredibly cheap. A trip to the flower market could be combined with a boat pier, since it has access to a river pier. Muay Thai Boxing Ratchadamnoen Stadium Show every Monday, Wednesday, Tuesday and Sunday 6-10pm.

WEST THAILAND Erawan National Park The Erawan National Park is located about 65km northwest of Kanchanaburi, in the Tenasserim Hills running along the Thai-Burmese border. It covers an area of 550 square kilometers of high mountains and attractive valleys. The highlight of the park is the Erawan waterfall, a beautiful multi level waterfall. Its 7 level fall drops 1500 meters down a steep sided cliff. Surrounded by a beautiful forest with many types of orchids and trees, a trail is available as far as the 6th level - from there, visitors can scramble up the cliff to reach the 7th level.The climb is well worth the effort for the sight of tumbling water. Nearby, bungalow accomodations, a daytime food market and camping facilities are available.

TIGER TEMPLE WAT PHA LUANG TA BUA The famous Tiger Temple in Thailand, Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua, is a Theravada Buddhist temple founded in 1994 as a forest temple and a sanctuary for wild animals, among them several tigers, mostly Indochinese tigers. Located in the Saiyok district of Thailand´s Kanchanaburi province, not far from the border with Myanmar, only 38 km north west of Kanchanaburi.

Khao Sam Roi Yot Marine National Park This beautiful park is located 63 kilometers south of Hua Hin and occupies a an area of 98 sq. km with undulating ranges of limestone mountains, beaches and mangrove swamps. It is also home to a variety of local and migrating birds, which are usually there between November and February. With a large number of ridges, Khao Sam Roi Yot - also called the mountain of 300 peaks - stands as a landmark for seamen and also provides shelter for ships during a storm.

Paknampran Beach in Pranburi

Just a 10 minute drive from Pranburi town going towards the coast, Pak Nam Pran is blessed with endless miles of white, sandy beaches. It is exactly the location between Hua Hin and Chumphon. Perfect to use as a family attraction, this beach has not yet made it into the Thailand international tourist trail. For those interested in a secluded beach, nearly always deserted, this is the right spot. Besides, it is also a great spot to see dolphins. Also referred to as the „Sunrise Coast“ - to see why, you should get there in the early hours of the morning


NORTH THAILAND Singburi Province The province of Singburi is situated approximately 150 km north of Bangkok. Its distinctive natural and cultural sites attract visitors who can enjoy a boat tour along the Chao Phraya River. Additionally, the province’s cultural heritage comprises several Buddhist temples, such as the Wat Phra Non Chaksi. It is the most famous temple in the province and has a giant reclining Buddha. Lastly, it is recommended to visit the National Museum of Singburi, located in the Wat Bot temple to get to know the history of the province. The Singburi Province is definitely worth a day trip, especially because it takes only 2 – 3 hours by bus from the Bangkok Bus Terminal Mochit

EAST THAILAND Koh Samet

Pattaya Just 2 hours far from the city life of Bangkok along the East Coast is Pattaya, the renowned “Jewel of the East Coast”. The destination itself developed from a small fishing village into an international coast destination with plenty of hotels, shops, restaurants, bars and entertainments. There are several places and attractions to visit in and around Pattaya. Besides the beautiful beaches and islands, it is recommended to visit the Buddhist temple “Wat Yannasangwararam” in Chomthien with its mix of architectural styles and beautiful surroundings. Furthermore other places which must be seen are the Elephant Village and the Nong Nooch Cultural Village.

Hiding away from daily life, stress and work, that is what Koh Samet’s visitors attract. The rather small island at the East Coast of Thailand has some of the nicest beaches in Thailand and is the perfect place for relaxation. For that reason Bangkok’s inhabitants love to spend their weekends on the small island. It is only 3 ½ hours drive from Bangkok’s Eastern Bus terminal, the Ekamai bus station to Ban Phe. From there it takes 30 min by boat to the island. For those who still want to be active, activities such as snorkeling, diving, windsurfing etc. are offered but not at all beaches.


SOUTH THAILAND Hua Hin

Ratchaburi

Hua Hin is around 4hours from Bangkok City. Its breathtaking 3km white sand beach attracts many tourists that want to have a break from the crowded city center.

The name Ratchaburi means ‘The land of the king’ and is a province full of culture, history and rich landscapes. It is located 80km southwest of Bangkok. One of its main attractions is the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. The most suitable time to be at the market is from 08.00-10.00am.

Activities: Hua Hin Golf Course was the first golf course in Thailand.

National Parks Kaeng Krachan National Park Is the largest national park in Thailand.

Pa La u Waterfall is located in a rain forest and is around 60km west of Hua Hin
