• To enter a bid, the bidder raises his number card, directing the signal to either the auctioneer or to one of the spotters whose job it is to relay bids to the Auctioneer. Bids should be made promptly. The Auctioneer will not let bidders bid against themselves. • A “sealed bid” representative will be present and will try to purchase items for sealed bidders at the lowest price possible, not to exceed the sealed bid amount. • The highest bidder acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the Auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and re-sell the article in dispute.
• If the Auctioneer determines that any opening bid is not commensurate with the value of the article offered, he may reject the bid and withdraw the article from sale. • On the fall of the Auctioneer’s hand, the title to the article will pass to the highest bidder, who, thereupon, assumes full risk and responsibility thereof.
