Tim Writes We're got a great team of volunteers for Sunday School but it would be good if there was one person who had a vision and passion for the ministry. Pray that God will raise such a person up. MISSIONS GIVING UPDATE An update on how we give to missions. I forgot one method which are the blue Anglican Missions boxes at the back of some of the churches. You can take these home, fill them up with loose change over several months and then bring them in and put them in the plate. If you write your envelope number on the white space on the back it will be recorded with your regular giving for the year and will be included in your end of year tax receipt. AUDIO SERMONS UPDATED We're back to putting the sermons online again as audio recordings. You can browse to the parish website, click on sermons, click on the one you want and away you go. "God and War in the Old Testament" is now available. The website url is Note that there is no "www" before the url so don't type it as it is not needed. NEW LOCK - SEE TIM We have installed a new combination lock with a secret code to get into the Cobden Church. If you a person like one of our church cleaners who needs to know the code then please ring Tim who will give it to you. One helpful suggestion for remembering the code was to input it into your cell phone as a contact. e.g. Name=Church Code, Phone No.= xxxx (code). If you are given the code please never ever divulge it for obvious security reasons but also to protect our ability to claim insurance. STAMPS FOR MISSIONS Please keeps stamps off envelopes. Tear around the stamp leaving a 1cm gap and drop off at the back of each church when you have a good amount. Lawn Mowing Roster 24th May Henk Stengs
