Tim Writes It's been a full week with lots happening. The repairs on the Cobden property are almost complete and in many ways we have come out better off with a number of things now in better condition than they were before the storm. The evangelism training has gone very well and a big well done to all those who came. I am encouraged by those of you who have already been able to share your testimony. Can I encourage home group leaders to actively work on taking 15min in their meetings to function as a support team for people's oikos members. This coming Saturday at 2pm Robin and Marge are getting married. It's the wedding of the year in many ways and all are welcome to attend the ceremony. To attend the afternoon tea you need to have RSVP'd. 150YRS COMMEMORATIVE BOWLS Bishop Richard has commissioned Nelson potter Ross Richards to make a limited number of pottery bowls to commemorate the 150th. The bowls are 13cm and 17cm in diameter,

glazed Nelson Diocesan Blue, fit inside each other and cost $25/pair. Ring Anita in Nelson to order on 03 548-3124. See our website for image. OKARITO TRIP Henk is arranging the next Okarito Trip. You can come and go at any stage over the weekend but it will run from Friday morning the 10th of Oct through to Mon morning on the 13th. Accommodation will cost $20/night. Travel and food to be worked out separately. It will be a wonderful time of fellowship, fishing, walking and generally just taking time out to relax. MASTER OF PHOTOGRAPHY We always knew it but now it is official. Stewart Nimmo after his latest entries in the Tauranga photography awards has reached the point of being recognised officially as a Master of Photography. Well done Stewart!! Well done too, to both Stewart and Lydia for also doing very well in the competitions and receiving a number of awards for their various entries. Lawn Mowing Roster 24th August Henk Stengs
