Tim Writes It would sometimes seem that Christianity mainly expresses itself through the written and spoken word and yet there is a rich Christian heritage in the arts as we caught a glimpse of with Wayne Lorimer's message a few weeks ago. Indeed the picture of creation in Genesis and many of the Psalms would tell us that the truth about God can come in many creative shapes and forms. In recent years there has been a resurgence of interest in the arts from a Christian perspective especially with the advent of new forms of media and technologies. Here in NZ a trust has been formed called the Chrysalis Trust to inspire, resource and network together artists and all those interested in expressing faith through the arts. I would encourage anyone who has an interest in this area to take a look at or There are also some brochures at the back of church. SUNDAY SCHOOL LEADERS
