Elastic sealant from Mapei can stand the heat - Mapesil 300˚C Mapesil 300°C silicone sealant offers superior heat resistance and bonds to all non-absorbent, non-oxidising substrates. Offered as a soft black paste, it reacts with atmospheric humidity and gives off acetic acid to form a flexible, adhesive rubber material.
Ideal for flexible sealing on industrial and domestic ovens, Mapesil 300°C can withstand temperatures of up to 300°C.
The sealant provides • Resistance to high working temperatures • Resistance to thermal shock and fumes • Resistance to acid and alkaline environments • Resistance to oils, lubricants and fuels • Improved chimney flue draft • Elasticity
