shelter, as well as programs, for women and children fleeing domestic violence. The shelter also operates a crisis line. The thrift store, New Beginnings by Community Welcome House, is located at 7 West Washington St., Newnan. Items donated to the thrift store are used to help the women at the shelter, and women getting their own homes, first; the rest of the donations are sold to raise money to operate the shelter.
