Kane’s Kete of Knowledge
By Tom and Tim
Kane was bored. He decided to research his Pepeha. So he went and visited his Grandma.
Grandma told Kane about his mountain (maunga), Aoraki Mt Cook.
Next, Grandma told Kane about his River (awa), the Clutha River.
Next, Grandma told Kane about his tribe, Ngai Tahu.
They then stayed the night in the Marae. Grandma taught Kane everything there was to know about the Tikanga
After his journey, Kane’s Kete of Knowledge was full, earning him a pounamu! Ka pai Kane.
