Our mission. We strive to build a community for designers, non-designers who are interested in design, and prospective designers. Pixel Husky is where these groups can interact and inspire love for design.

What we do. Run 4 to 5 events a quarter. Talks, panels, workshops and others. Cater to all 3 types of audience. To build the community.

The Pixel Project. A new format different from everything that is out there. Hackathon? Capstone? Competition?
The Purpose. Encourage students to work in interdisciplinary teams. Expose to the entire design process with constructive feedbacks. Develop projects that fully embody design thinking.

Decisions: sticky decisions, lighting demos Prototyping: 2D, 2.5D, 3D, paper, video etc.
WORK DAY 1
First opportunity for teams to gain feedbacks from the mentors
VALIDATION + ITERATION
Validation: usability testing, stakeholders, how to ask for feedbacks + Iteration: how to turn results into ideas for design

Last opportunity for teams to gain feedbacks before the presentation
FINAL PRESENTATION DAY
Team presentation to showcase their work and their process throughout the weeks

What we need. Minimal monetary support to cover event costs. Mentor(s) at one of the two work sessions. Judge(s) at the final presentation. A real world project.

How much money? Less like sponsorship. More like collaboration. Work together to maximize benefits. We use the money to purchase event swags, club swags, workshop supplies, food and book venue.
