The Frangipani pool villas are sold as leasehold properties, leased from the development company. The term of the lease is 90 years (30 yrs + 30 yrs + 30 yrs). The lease agreement is a standard contract and therefore compliant WITH, AND PROTECTED BY THE FULL BODY OF LAW RELATING TO LEASES. Special provisions are included to allow the lease to be converted in to freehold should Thai law change in the future and to take any advantage of any extensions of the normal lease term. Leasehold buyers are provided with a share subscription to a Thai company that holds the freehold lease. Both being leaseholder and part owner of the leasing company ensures the ability to renew leases in perpetuity. Leasehold villas will be registered by the developer in buyerâ€™s names at the Krabi land office.
