1 v-house wood — native, natural, breathing, changing in time , warm- it a material used in facades that surrounds privet house parts — bedrooms, kitchen. Concreate — representable, monumental, smooth, a cold — everything that is needed for dinning room and living room to host elegant friend reunion. in the middle of two parts of V is a closed winter garden with a tree — that ties house together and is the center of attencion — house grows and changes with family. PROJECT goal - designe a house for a family with specific intrests (another task was to designe your own client).
form conception One storey house has two parts - one that has also a trapezoid form and the other rectangular. Forms are made to emphasize on the feeling of a room - the highest part of house almost 4.5 m are in the living room with a view to the lake Jugla through impressive glass windows. The other part is made with ceiling height of 2.8m to get comfortable house feeling. House is designed for family with two parents and two children.

PROJECT in colleboration with two of my course mates . task - master the principles of designing a small, closed pavilion at arkadijas park that blends in with the surrounding enviroment. my concept of a broken film tape form for the pavilion gave this place its creative cafe function - a place to watch latvian films.
