“Being entrusted with Q2’s interior design after the positive feedback from Q1 came with a large measure of satisfaction for me and my team. On the flip side however hovered the pressure to meet the demands of even higher expectations. For those who know us, we are continually striving for change and to exceed our goals. We pride ourselves in never having done two projects which are the same - and Q2 is no exception. We started by perfecting the layouts, on which all the rest of the design revolves. This took time, designing over and over, sketch after sketch, to create apartment options and layouts that should leave buyers spoilt for choice. Then came the interiors. Subtle hints of marine elements, materials and tones were juxtaposed against a rich neutral background that will give clients the opportunity to be flexible with their personal furnishings and set them against a timeless design.. Achieving this meant doing away with any extremes and avoiding both the ultra-modern and the overly traditional. It meant focusing on warm contemporary elements and embellishing them to suit our designs. In essence Q2's design is not just our response to a client’s brief or to buyers’ requirements; it is, simply put, our vision for contemporary home design.”
