Fairmont Music Concert

Our annual prestige music concert was hosted on Friday, 11 April, in the Clive Wigg Hall. Once again, the audience was amazed at all the music talent in our own school. Two of our past music pupils, Natasha Otero and Chelsea Simmonds, also performed. Natasha completed her Honours in Music 3 years ago, and Chelsea is currently a 3rd year Music student at UCT. Our talented Gr. 12 pupil, Steven Chang, performed a vigorous Rachmaninoff piece on piano. Other pupils who performed were Tina Park (piano), Jinny Jin, Brandon Waddy and Andrew Hill ( both guitars). Kyra Janse van Rensburg, Shayla dos Santos, Sunny Yoon and Zara Scott sang beautiful songs to entertain the audience. We also heard the Girls’ Choir for the first time this year and it is clear to see, and hear, that they are really going places. Well done, and congratulations to all these performers. We wish you good luck for your studies for the rest of the year.
