Syllabus Fluid Mechanics Laboratory, 1st term academic year 2010-2011 Time: Monday, 9 am to 11:30 am, Oct. 4 to Dec. 20, 2010 Place: Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics, Dept. of Civil Engineering Instructor: Dr. Nguyễn Quốc Ý Phone: 01666 403 601, Ext.: 5572 Email: nguyenquocy@hcmut.edu.vn Office: Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics, Dept. of Civil Engineering Purpose of the course: As to implement the course of Fluid Mechanics lectured in parallel, this course is aimed to help student to observe and understand basic phenomena and mechanisms in fluid mechanics practically. It also help students to develop experimental skills as well as to get familiar to teamworking. Description of the course: As coordiated with the lecture, this course introduces to students seletced topics in fluid mechanics which are of the fundamentals. Each experiment is done by a group of 5 to 6 students. However, each student is required to analyze the recorded data by him/herselve and submit the final report individually. Corequisites: Fluid Mechanics Class text: Instructions of Fluid Mechanics Laboratory, handed out at the first class.
