Working out can be a pain in the ass, literally. We can easily come up with excuses why we don’t workout, whether it’s time, weather, or maybe money. This workout I’m going to present to you came from scientific data that I read in the New York Times. The author claims that all you need is 7 minutes, a chair, a wall, and yourself. The workout is intended to be interval training, which in all my research has been the most effective form of exercise. It incorporates 12 body weight exercises that can easily be done in your home, at 30 second intervals, check out this nifty timer. High Intensity Interval training research suggests that short, intense exercise can boost metabolism, fight weight gain and even add years to your life. Woohoo! The catch…how can 7 minutes do the trick? The author suggest that for the best results you should repeat the series 2 to 3 times, really making it a total of 14 to 23 minutes… which in the end is still very reasonable, right? Does it work? Yes, it does, you will feel the burn very quickly and your heart rate go up within the first couple exercises. How much does it cost?
