Biome • Southern Madagascar • Rainforest • Arboreal • Does not migrate


Life Cycle • Fruit, leaves, insects • 18 yrs. wild, 30 yrs. Captivity • Stay in same troop • Females dominate


Adaptations • Tail stinks, makes predator go away • Leather pads on feet • Comb-like front teeth, grooming • Tails help with tree dwelling


Reasons of Endangered status • 10,000100,000 left • Farming, logging • Predator: hawks, eagles • Hunted for food
