FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE

Jaymarie came to Freedom Farm from terrible circumstances. She was a homeless teenage girl deemed too young for shelter in the current system, and began to plan for a life in her car. At Freedom Farm, she found the love and support she had been looking for, and she found a new purpose and plan. She found new friends and family to give her the unconditional love she needed to move forward in her life and to guide her on the path to adulthood. She was almost a statistic and now she is a shining example of what can happen when people decide to pour into a young person’s life.
Jaymarie found freedom from her circumstances and a new life at Freedom Farm.
Jaymarie“I see more of a future now than I ever did before. Even though I don’t know what I want to be, I know that I want to be alive and I feel like that’s more promising.”
By providing spiritual guidance, necessary resources and assistance, we aim to help them navigate through difficult situations and overcome their challenges. We believe that by investing in those in crisis, we
make a positive and lasting impact on their lives and on society as a whole.
Unique to the area, Freedom Farm understands the needs of our community and takes a holistic approach to mentoring relationships to help them develop crucial life skills to be successful in their future.
• 250,000 children are placed into the foster care system every year.
• Approximately 1 out of 4 young adults that age out of foster care this year will become homeless.
• 61.8% of Alabamians aged 12-17 who have depression did not receive any care in the last year.
With the love of Christ, all things are possible. Freedom Farm recognizes the needs of each individual and aims to lead and guide young adults and children on their journey to success by providing love, guidance and support.
Through a variety of programs, Freedom Farm supports children and young adults of all ages who are currently in crisis and need help managing the crisis and effects of trauma.
We provide an afterschool mentorship (grades K-12) to help cultivate healthy relationships and create an atmosphere for children to learn and grow in their relationship with the Lord. Out of our four existing and planned programs, The Freedom Project will continue to operate with our current facilities.
• Peer Interactions
• After School Mentoring and Tutoring
• Equine Emotional Wellness Program
• Counseling & Family Support
• Summer Camps
• School Partnerships and Programs

Freedom Farm is working with Third Lens Ministries, a nonprofit organization which manages the project launch process in order to ensure a successful building project for ministries. Kendra Mayton from 356 Architecture + Interiors has volunteered and donated design services on this project, greatly lowering design and planning costs.
The surrounding community has given its support to the project, as Freedom Farm has formed partnerships with Big Oak Ranch which has been influential in the structure of our ministry. Also, the Russell County Commission has joined in and given a sizeable donation to help remodel the Education Center!
Because of these and other partners in the community, this project will move forward in God’s perfect timing and will.
With an eligible Foundation Donation you have the opportunity to customize a stone in honor of your contribution. All donations will be invested into the restoration of young adults, children, and families in the community. Freedom Farm is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
