Om je te helpen bij het maken van de opdrachten bieden we Language support. Hier vind je de theorie over de grammatica, woordenschat en Engelse zinnen. Bij de opdrachten staan verwijzingen naar de Language support.
Door de modulaire opzet van DoorEngels kun je je eigen keuzes maken. Die kunnen afhangen van je eigen voorkeuren, de leerdoelen die je belangrijk vindt of van wat je nodig hebt. Besidesalackoftime,it’sfearoffailureorlookingstupidthatusuallystopspeoplefrom followingtheirdreams.Ifyou’relikeme,beingbadatsomethingcanmakeyouanxious. Adultslearnnewskillsdifferentlytochildren – butitdoesn’tmeantheyaren’tasgoodat learningthem.ResearchersfromTelAvivUniversityinJerusalemhaveshownthatadults haveagreatabilityforlearningnewlanguages,aslongastheycanthenusethelanguage inarealisticway.Bylearning,forexample,thelanguagethatisspokenatyourfavourite holidayspot,thefrontallobesofyourcerebrumareactivated.Thisisthepartofyourbrain responsibleforyourshort-termmemory.Themoreyouuseit,thebetteritwillwork.
