WELCOME TO WESTFIELD Welcome to The Westfield School! We are glad you are here, and we want to do everything possible to make your time with us an enjoyable one. During your visit to our campus, you will discover that our school spirit is a strong and proud tradition. Over the past fifty years, students, administration, faculty, staff, and the families of Westfield have joined together to celebrate athletic competition. Athletic events are family affairs with several generations of Hornets cheering on the current teams. Our athletic programs would not be successful without the tremendous support of our Westfield families. Parent volunteers in the Westfield Booster Club and the Westfield Family Organization provide countless hours of time and talent for the benefit of our student athletes. Their efforts make a difference in the quality of our athletic programs. The accomplishments of our athletic teams and the quality of our athletic facilities are a direct result of the leadership of the athletic department, the dedication and skill of the coaches, and the cooperation of the teachers and families who all work together to promote the athletic programs of Westfield. We are pleased to showcase our student athletes who are featured in this program. They represent the best of Westfield when they take the field and deserve our support and positive encouragement at each game. Thank you to the individuals and businesses throughout our community who support our school. The advertisers in this 2019 Fall Sports Program, as well as the many sponsorships provided, reflect an extraordinary show of support for Westfield. The longstanding commitment to our school by these supporters is greatly appreciated, and we encourage you to thank these supporters and to patronize their businesses. I look forward to seeing you on our campus throughout the school year, Westfield’s 50th anniversary year, and to sharing the passion for the Westfield Hornets! #educationofmindandheart #westfieldathletics #gohornets #fiftyyearsofwestfield

HORNET ATHLETICS Dear Fans, Welcome to The Westfield School, Marvin Arrington Stadium at Ronnie Jones Field, and the Lady Hornets’ softball complex. There is no other atmosphere like high school sports. Our student athletes, coaches, and staff appreciate your attendance at tonight’s game. I believe that athletics play an important role in the education of our student athletes. Many of life’s values such as hard work, commitment, teamwork, and dedication are learned on the playing field. We are fortunate to have qualified and experienced coaches in all sports to lead our student athletes. These coaches are also men and women of high moral and Christian character who not only coach on the playing field, but who also serve as academic teachers and mentors. Our student athletes and coaches have been working extremely hard this summer to prepare for the season ahead. As athletic director, I would like to thank everyone who has supported The Westfield School and our athletic programs throughout the past fifty years. As a result of this support and generosity throughout several generations, I believe we have some of the finest athletic facilities in our league. We invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the game. Sincerely, Chip Champion Athletic Director

Originally built in 1969, Perry Houston County Hospital (as it was originally named) began as a 45-bed inpatient facility serving Perry and surrounding areas. Today, Perry Hospital has expanded it’s campus to include a 6-bed inpatient hospice unit, advanced radiology services, inpatient/outpatient surgery services, and includes a newly constructed Air Evac

base for transporting critically ill patients by helicopter. As part of the Houston Healthcare system, the staff at Perry Hospital continues to strive to bring the best care possible to their hometown and the Houston County community.
