DO YOUR DOGS GET ALONG? Mostly – they’re brothers. Charlie will wake up Archie every morning kissing him for about 10 minutes. They have their own Instagram account and a lot more followers than me! ●
WHAT DO YOU HAVE PLANNED FOR THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS?
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO?
I’m about to go to Byron Bay to sing at a friend’s wedding. Today I have to learn the songs I’m going to play at the wedding. ●
Winter! No one dresses up for anything, you just wear your hoodie and your pants and just stay at home where it’s warm. ●

A Melbourne designer label making signature pieces with the power to transform.
Who’s behind the counter? Founder, owner and creative director Jacqui Demkiw harboured dreams of becoming a ballerina but changed direction after graduating from high school, when she turned her hand to fashion design. Jacqui now oversees five standalone White Suede stores. What’s in store? White Suede pieces can often be recognised by their modern sculptural yet feminine qualities. This is the place to shop for cool evening wear, racewear or a signature leather jacket. Jacqui says her key philosophy is to empower women to feel confident about their style, to be their own muse and to know the value of quality designs. This season’s collection features luxe leather jackets (perfect for autumn) and skirts, cashmere knitwear, sheer lightweight silks, romantic embroidered dresses and crochet lace. “I love styling women so the clothing they buy can be worn from day into night, and workwear to weekend through different shoes or accessories. It’s about having a clever balance of pieces you can mix,” Jacqui says. Who’s buying? Women in their late teens to those in their 40s are loyal customers. ● VIRGINIA MILLEN
