Alice plays in nine-member ukulele group, the Strumbles, and is also a Waikato Ukejam organiser. Alice has been a musician since the age of six, when her mother taught her ukulele. Since then she’s played violin and viola in orchestras; fiddle in folk and bluegrass groups; drums and bass in rock bands. A few years ago she found her way back to her first love, the ukulele, and she’s never looked back. She loves bringing her wide experience of music to teaching others to play.

Shane is a motivational ukulele teacher and corporate trainer who also runs weekly kids uke clubs at eight primary schools throughout the region, and regular uke workshops in the school holidays, and is currently developing a kids musical puppet show with ‘magical tapshoes’.
