The awards were presented at a breakfast held in conjunction with National Ag Day. The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and Hall County Cooperative Extension annual agribusiness awards program increases recognition and appreciation of the agricultural community in Hall County. Friend of Agribusiness Tim Evans, Vice President, Economic Development, Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce As a part of his work with the Greater Hall Chamber, Tim is one of Hall County's greatest cheerleaders and fighters for jobs in our area. He encourages international delegations and visitors to experience agritourism and makes sure to spotlight Hall County's family farms when bringing international groups to visit the community. Agriculture and farm families are always on his mind!

Farmer of the Year Jarl Echols, Jaemor Farms A 4th generation farmer, Jarl Echols has been farming his entire life. Jarl is a partner in his family's operation along with his brother, Judah Echols, and son, Drew. He is in charge of all pest management, equipment management, and irrigation at Jaemor Farms. His knowledge and history of agriculture in our area is quite extensive.
