Old Town Hall & Library Gardens, Wallington, SM6 3DE Visit the borough’s oldest Farmer’s Market and hosts around 28 local producers stalls each month, offering a range of local produce including meat, fish, cheeses and seasonal fruit and vegetables. Volunteer stewards will be onsite to ensure social distancing and market traders will be following Sutton Council’s market trader Covid guidance.


Help us on the Field We are excited to be welcoming volunteers back for our Saturday morning sessions with social distancing and necessary safety measures in place. Advance booking necessary. It’s a lovely time of the year to join us. Our lavender flowers at the end of July and as you can imagine smells divine! Join us on Saturday from 10:30am 12:30pm and help us with any of the following tasks: hand weeding - mowing - strimming - planting - tidying - general gardening duties

If you would like to take part please email food@ecolocal.org.uk to find out if there is space available. Normal sessions start in the New Year from Friday 7th January 2022. Gardening can be a wonderfully satisfying activity for anyone, regardless of age and ability. Enjoy the outdoors, meet other peple, learn new skills, get a bit of exercise and take a share of the harvest home to eat! We are also growing fresh vegetables for donation to Sutton Women’s Centre food bank for women in crisis. There has been an increased demand for this food bank from women in need since Covid-19 and we are delighted to be able to help in this way. We are open in rain and sun, but we need to keep numbers to a covid-safe level, so please enquire before coming: Mondays 10.30am—12.30pm, Fridays 10,30am - 12.30pm, Saturdays 9.30am - 11.30am.
