CARSHALTON JAZZ at the CRYER From October 1991 Carshalton Jazz Club ran continuously at the Charles Cryer for 23 years plus a further year at Carshalton College, finally closing October 2016, surviving the Cryer itself by two months. Now re-opened the venue has been extensively refurbished and re-equipped - happily under new management. A new bar serving food and real ale has been created on the ground floor. On Wednesday 10th June Carshalton Jazz presents a brand new production entitled ‘Echoes of the Delta’ recalling the name of the band led for many years by legendary trumpeter Mike Daniels. It also recalls the inspiration for much of his music: the mighty Mississippi. The session features renowned pianist Keith Nichols and his Rhythmakers with awardwinning Enrico Tomasso on trumpet. Mike also wrote great arrangements which will be heard throughout. Tickets may be secured, with no booking fee, by emailing David Burr: davidburr647@btinternet.com

or by telephoning 020 8647 2114. A memorable evening is guaranteed!
