Dear Resident We are working in partnership with Transport for London to run a Community Roadwatch - a road safety initiative which aims to reduce speeding in residential areas. Community Roadwatch gives local residents the opportunity to work side by side with their local police teams, and use speed detection equipment to identify speeding vehicles in their communities. Warning letters will be issued where appropriate, and the information can help to inform the future activity of local police teams. If you would be interested in taking part in Community Roadwatch at some point in the near future, or to suggest a residential area where there are community concerns around speeding, please contact us at or on the below number. We look forward to hearing and working with you. Kind regards Sutton Safer Neighbourhood Team, Roads & Transport Policing Command Sutton Safer Transport Team, Sutton Police Station, 6 Carshalton Road, Sutton, Surrey, SM1 4RF 07825 386765 Between the 1 December and 1 January, Radio Marsden is celebrating its 48th Christmas as the hospital radio station of the Royal Marsden hospitals. To mark this we will be available on DAB and online as we launch a very special month “Radio Marsden Christmas”. With a theme of “bringing people together”, we want to hear from people in the community with stories to tell about community spirit and what Christmas means to them. We also want to hear from Businesses within the community who are “doing something different” this Christmas. Over the month, Radio Marsden wants to tell the stories of the local people and businesses and bring people together at this special time of year. Before we go on air, we’ll be hosting the Cheam Village Christmas festival, with a very special surprise guest star. We were really excited to have hosted the Wallington Christmas festival in November. One of the highlights of the month will be our attempt at the longest ever underwater radio broadcast on the 10th December, which you’ll be able to hear and see live on Make sure you retune your DAB radio on the 1 December or listen online at To donate to Radio Marsden, go to Radio Marsden is a registered charity (270850).
