Old Town Hall & Library Gardens, Wallington, SM6 3DE Visit the borough’s oldest Farmer’s Market and hosts around 28 local producers stalls each month, offering a range of local produce including meat, fish, cheeses and seasonal fruit and vegetables. Volunteer stewards will be onsite to ensure social distancing and market traders will be following Sutton Council’s market trader Covid guidance.
QUILTERS OF SUTTON Quilters of Sutton is a friendly group based in Wallington, Surrey. As an independent group we offer a social and informative gathering for like-minded members. Although not a formal teaching group, we have a varied programme of events covering subjects such as technique demos, show and tell discussions and helpful advice. We set small projects suitable for hand sewing at meetings and help with group charity quilts. We meet at The Trinity Centre, Maldon Road, Wallington, SM6 8BL, 7.30 - 9.30pm on the first Thursday of the month (except January). If you would like to join the Group, we offer 3 visits as a guest at £3 each visit as a taster.

Carshalton Water Tower, West Street, Carshalton The Friends Celebrating 30 Years Sat 6th August - Homage to the Donors, Celebrating the Tree Planting, by leter of invitation only, in the Hermitage, 4-6pm. The Water Tower is open every Sunday from 2.30 - 5pm. The Hermitage is open on the first and third Sunday this month. There is a small charge but children are free when accompanied by an adult.
