Carshalton Water Tower The Water Tower opens each Sunday in the month from 2:30-5:00pm unless otherwise stated. The Hermitage is open on the first and third Sunday in each month (when the Water Tower is open) from 2:30 - 4:30pm. "Sutton African and Caribbean Community Organisation (the new name for the black history group SACCO) is running a series of workshops for young people aged 12 - 18 of African or Caribbean heritage led by a mentor from this community. There are 10 places on each course. The aim is to have positive role models. One will be in catering. There will be 6 workshops of 2 hrs ending in the group cooking a meal for 30 people at the Life Centre in Sutton on 27 October 2018. The other will be in performance with 10 workshops of 2hrs ending in a performance of music and dance at the meal on the 27th. The young people will need to commit to all the workshops and the final event on the 27 October. Please let us know if you are interested. The courses are free and the place is for one or the other, not both. An ability to sing and dance is desirable for the performance. " SACCO, 0203 302 9543

As a group we will create a timeline and look at how holidays have changed over the years. Create a mini beach and listen to stories based on holidays in the past.
