Letter from the Executive Director Looking to a Brighter Future

Presence of mind is something that weighs heavily in a business owner’s mind. Do people recognize my brand, my colors, my logo? Are people walking through my front door and using my services? While all of that is incredibly critical for a business, we must also remember an important venture: presence of community, on which the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce staff and volunteers industriously dedicate over 10,000 hours per year of time.

John Elmore, Alicia Bull and Bonnie Canaday

We wholeheartedly believe in this amazing and diverse business community. Our role as the Chamber is to facilitate further economic growth and promote and protect our current businesses, and we do so through several projects throughout the year.

executive director’s message

Being fully present is the best guarantee for a bright future. — Guy Finley

Outside of the several community festivals we promote and participate in, we have an awesome pair of gigantic scissors (hold a ribbon cutting, and you can use them!), send out a weekly newsletter chock full of information about business and community events, provide the Rob Fuller Scholarship to our future leaders, provide business education and networking opportunities, and serve as a business information resource for visitors to our community. Business promotion and community growth are always top of mind at the Chamber. This directory is one of the many other services we provide our members, and we pass several of them out each week to visitors at our Chamber Way office. The information on the following pages make a great guide for those new or considering a move to the area. Local residents look to the directory for consumer guidance as well.

In this directory, you will find local businesses you know you can rely on. It allows the Chamber to showcase its members and how they serve our community. Thumb through the pages, and you will see a listing of businesses, organizations and individuals who care about and are deeply involved in making sure our communities are — and will continue to be — great places to live and shop. We look forward to seeing what 2014 and the (bright!) future brings to our community.
