Lewis County has a full range of care available for senior residents. Colonial Residence, Cooks Hill Manor, Sharon Care Center, Liberty Country Place, Guest Only Care Center and Woodland Estates all offer wellness, exercise, social and recreational programs in addition to prepared meals, housekeeping, entertainment, appointment transportation, group trips and 24-hour-aday, on site, licensed medical professionals. For seniors wishing to remain in their homes, Assured Home Health & Hospice, Assured at Home, Help at Home Senior Services and Providence Help at Home Hospices all offer varying care assistance.

Lewis County also has Dial-A-Ride Transportation Program designed to transfer seniors (aged 60 or better) to and from medical and health care services, meal programs, social services, grocery shopping, education and employment opportunities. // Call (360) 748-0161 for a ride. Service is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Lewis County has six senior centers that offer several programs at each location including: senior transportation, Meals on Wheels, senior recreation, nutrition programs and much more. Another valuable resource in the community is the LewisMason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging (LMTAAA).
