The Power of the Wind While it is obvious to those studying metaphysics, it hasn’t as yet reached the vast population, that there is a Creative Mind within each of us, and what does it create but the directions it gets from us. The words we utilize are a vital link to the formation of our experience. It seems that a lot of people do not think one word is more important than another, but, alas, they are very wrong. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away till all be fulfilled.” He was not talking about some words and not others. He knew his words set in motion the mechanism of creation, and unless he retracted those words they would continue on there pathway to manifestation. The dictionaries throughout the world have multiple words, and they update them on a regular basis, however; they do not take in the individual impact of the words. Swear words have a harsh emotional affect, while kind words, polite words and such can also have an emotional affect, but on the other end of the scale. If any word has power, than every word has power, and every word has a meaning, which is unique to the person using it. Many comedians use vulgar language as a gimmick to appeal to the audience, but they may not ascribe any more power in those words over others. A student inquired, after I had given a Sunday message about the power of words, “How do I know which words to chose and which ones to reject? “Knowing that this person was from a very orthodox background, I replied, “The words I would use are the same ones I would use when talking to God.” After all, very few people would use profanity ion prayer. Arnie, the starter at the Bishop Country Club once warned a golfer that he was going to put in my group, “Watch your language, Walt is a minister.” I replied, “I am only concerned with what comes out of my mouth. You have to live with what comes out of yours.” I prefer adult conversations to be without the ‘potty mouth’ usage, but if the person feels they can express themselves better that way: so be it! Some people don’t have a positive vocabulary, and if they do, it’s not big enough. My teacher emphasized developing a positive language. It doesn’t have to be sickening sweet or ingenuous, but it doesn’t need to be incendiary either. Jesus said, “It is done unto us as we believe,” and we express our belief with words. Words are more than an alphabetical arrangement. When someone says dog, we don’t envision d-o-g, we picture the animal that signifies dog to us. My dog is a Westie, but your dog might be a St. Bernard. Size doesn’t matter. They are both dogs, and one is bigger than the other, however; the emotional attachment we have towards our animals may be the same Use your words wisely and you will not regret it! God is Love and Loving You Right Now!.
