Plymouth Excellence Cluster has been supporting schools in since 2004 and is now the preferred provider of targeted services for all the primary schools in the city. It is funded via Plymouth Schools’ Forum and works closely with the Plymouth Association of Primary Heads (PAPH) to ensure that schools shape the services that it offers. It employs 90 staff either working peripatetically over a number of fixed schools or within our Multi-Agency Support Team (MAST). At present, staff contracts and the budget are held by Morice Town Primary School but there is a transformation process in place for it to become part of the PAPH Community Interest Company.
