teaching vacancies Supply Teacher Temporary • Salary / Grade: £110 / day*

Exeter Consortium The Exeter Consortium Exeter Email: mark.drew@st-james.devon.sch.uk exeterconsortium.com

Supply Teaching in Exeter Foundation, EY, KS1 and KS2 Nurturing, Developing and Sustaining Talent for Exeter Primary Schools Supply+ is a unique partnership between Exeter Consortium, Plymouth Association of Primary Heads (PAPH), Marjon and Plymouth Universities which are supported by Exeter University. This agency for Exeter recruits Newly Qualified Teachers to support the Primary Schools of Exeter and Plymouth. Our prime aim is to effect change within our school system by nurturing, developing and sustaining the talent within our cities.

Supply+ is effectively owned by its member schools, and as it’s not a private commercial company, its core motivation is not profit. Importantly, any profit that is made goes back into the schools. Supply+ is supported by Plymouth Schools as a first choice supply source, and will be available to Exeter Schools from July 2013. Supply+ supports NQT placements by helping schools with paperwork and, unlike commercially motivated agencies, has no financial barriers to schools to take on any of our NQT’s - there are no transfer fees for any permanent positions secured through us. Supply+ offers live access to outstanding teaching practice, peer support and CPD sessions for all our supply teachers, not just for our NQT’s. Through working with partners like the P.T.S.A. (Plymouth Teaching School Alliance) and Exeter Consortium we are able to offer subsidised or free professional development. Supply+ is a great transition to a permanent school position – 14 fulltime placements secured since September 2012. Becoming a supply teacher enables teachers and schools to ‘try before you buy’ and to gain invaluable experience and confidence working in different schools, ‘you’ve got to be in it, to win it’! We pay £100 per day for the first 12 weeks, rising to £110 per day thereafter. You are able to apply now and we will be interviewing in Exeter during the Summer Term 2013 for supply work as early as July 2013! Application Form - Visit our website www.supplyplus.org.uk to apply on line. Or for an informal discussion and to find out more information please call Amanda on 01752 784436 or Mark on 01392 209922 ext 222. "Working with Supply+ has enabled me to broaden my teaching experience and gain valuable skills needed to become a successful teacher. Supply+ has also provided me with opportunities to talk to and observe outstanding teachers to see how they teach, plan and assess children's learning."
