Bisque socket head, small brown glass sleep eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden balljointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: H made in Germany 12 241 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1914, the model is often referred to as “Hilda’s older sister” for its resemblance to a more grown-up version of the Hilda toddler.
