The sturdy wooden house features four windows with elaborately-carved and painted details that center a front out-set panel that extends from the first floor to the attic, and includes windows on the two upper floors and a carved panel door with faux-

stained glass lintels on the first floor. The house has elaborate decorative painting on the front, and lithographed paper on the sides. Panels at each side slide outward revealing four interior rooms with original wall and floor paper. It is uncertain if painted front exterior is original, although at any rate it has considerable age, and most charming detail. Germany, circa 1880. $1200/1800
