Welcome to Sophie’s Bakery!
Sophie’s Bakery has the vision to provide the best and healthiest, natural goods to its customers by maintaining the unity of community and a sensible activism towards environmentalism. The attitude of all our bakeries is that of freedom. Freedom from foods with pesticides and genetically modified organisms. Our shops do not have WiFi in them but instead areas for conversation and sharing, with tables in the family, picnic style, tables games at each setting, a wall where customers can post pictures, and much more interaction in a judgement free zone. At the end of every work day, we will donate any left over goods to the homeless shelter.
“Sophie’s Bakery” logo consists of two elements, the type and the symbol. Both elements must always be used together and arranged in this layout. The identity cannot be altered in anyway, it cannot be stretched, rearranged, or elements moved. Nor can the elements be seperated and used as indidivuals.

Identity clear space and approved sizes
Careful consideration must be used when placing the identity close to graphic elements (refer to the measurements shown here for the amount of clear space required around the identity) x = minimum clear space measure. To ensure a consistent application of the size of the identity for reproduction on other products, promotional display, and other media a sizing guideline must be established and is displayed on this page. At the time of production the minimum sizing that can be reproduced is shown here. Protecting the integrity of Sophie’s Bakery is of the highest priority. All requests to apply this identity must be approved by Sophie’s Bakery communications departmet.

When possible, it is preferred that the identity be printed in 4-colors: The logo should be printed in the colors “Black” (Pantone Black), “Green” (Pantone 375), “Fuschia” (Pantone 198), and Brown (Pantone 464). If a 4-color process is to be used to reproduce the identity, ask your printer to create what they believe will be the closest process match when printing on a white or colored stock. If possible, proof colors under “true” and consistent light conditions. And when proofing printed colors, keep in mind in most cases, it will be impossible to get an exact matchlook for an overall approximation. The identity can also be reversed to greys, but when doing so, make certain the color the identity will be reversed out of is dark enough to properly represent the character of the design. When the identity is reversed, it is preferred that the background color used is white.

Typography is a key part Sophie’s Bakery’s identity system. When used correctly and consistently, the typography communicates the spirit and attitude of the company. The type face for “Sophie” in the primary identity is type face Gruenewald VA. The “Bakery” and “dot” on the “i” of “Sophie” of the primary identity is the type face Futura. Secondary identities use the same font as the primary. For packaging, display, promotion and other applications, additional fonts can be used. These fonts are within the Geneva system. For special projects, other sans serif fonts can be used. The usage of serif fonts is restricted, however, in some cases a cursive font similar to the primary identity’s can be used.
