To position Peachy.co.uk as the voice of authority in responsible payday loan lending across multiple broadcast mediums, and allow a platform to educate the public as to how to best manage their finances during the expensive festive period.

Radio highlights included an interview on Sky News, with a total of 154 items of coverage. We also secured coverage on the Daily Mail and This Is Money among 15 other websites. Peachy.co.uk were impressed with the extent of coverage over such a short period of time and saw real benefits from the campaign.

THE EXECUTION To make the biggest impact, we conducted a multi-faceted campaign, combining radio interviews, radio and online competitions, a Talking Money radio feature, an Infographic, VNR filming and online coverage. Attacking all sides of the media, we were able to boost the online presence of Peachy.co.uk and reach out to a huge spectrum of audiences.

In response to the aftermath of the 2011 England Riots, Natwest and RBS wanted to comment on what needed to be done for small businesses, and announce that they would be providing short term, interest free loans to help their UK small business customers recover from the events.

The campaign highlights included interviews on LBC 97.3 and BBC Radio 5 Live. As well as securing a total of 17 items of BBC and commercial radio coverage, the newsworthy and highly topical story attracted BBC News 24 who covered the story on national television.

THE EXECUTION The strength of a story, which was reacting to events that shocked the nation, attracted national and regional coverage across BBC and commercial radio stations. Natwest’s campaign was newsworthy and timely, but more importantly provided a solution to a problem that affected businesses across the capital and interested the nation.

THE CHALLENGE

THE RESULTS

Following the sparked interest in British tennis after Andy Murray’s Wimbledon Final, the campaign aimed to convey across radio how Aegon is helping to make the sport more accessible and what they are doing to develop aspiring individuals.

We secured Aegon a total of 24 interviews across both national and regional radio stations, including BFBS, BBC Radio Southern Counties and Real Radio Scotland. Talking Life enabled them to tailor a radio feature which not only aired across 22 radio stations, but also targeted a specific audience.

THE EXECUTION A balanced mix of radio interviews and use of a bespoke Talking Life feature was ideal for Aegon’s campaign. Their response to Andy Murray’s Wimbledon victory appealed to a nationwide audience, making their key messages topical and relevant across radio. Having a focus on sports in schools not only reflected Aegon’s mission, but acted as an interesting story to a wider audience.
