To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kyocera Document Solutions and create a factual and timely news story during Small Business Advice Week to raise the profile of the brand with small business owners in the UK.

Securing a mix of regional BBC and commercial radio stations, Kyocera were pleased with a total of 33 radio interviews, as well as digital coverage reaching out to multiple websites with a business focus.

In line with the 25th anniversary of the World Wide Web, the campaign was to raise awareness of the UK Digital SME Index, which highlights the advantages of businesses’ engagement with technology.

The campaign highlights included securing 74 radio stations, and a total of 14 finance, business, charity and news websites. Lloyds were thrilled that their timely campaign hit such a wide audience across multiple platforms.

THE EXECUTION A mixture of radio interviews, a Talking Money feature and an online video worked best for Lloyds as it allowed them to reach out to businesses nationwide. The video showcased their credible research and Martha Lane-Fox, Chair of charity Go ON UK, bolstered the Index itself. To position CVS as the largest and most credible Business Rates Specialist, and make listeners aware that they have been providing property advice to commercial owners for over 15 years.

CVS were impressed with the securing of a much coveted interview on the national radio station BBC Radio 5 Live among other large commercial and BBC stations. On top of this, we secured a TV interview on BBC Breakfast, resulting in national online coverage on the BBC News website. The Talking Money feature appealed to their specific target audience, enabling their message to be heard across the UK.
