For most of us, the current pandemic is not just a health crisis, it’s an economic one too. Perthshire especially relies on tourism, so it’s impossible to deny that many of our cherished small businesses will be hard hit by the travel restrictions. Here’s a few suggestions on how we can all support them.

Spring is the time we traditionally open our windows to the fresh air and clean them. We might also move the furniture to sweep behind it, turn the mattresses, beat the rugs and scrub the skirting boards. But there’s lots of more modern items and appliances that we should be sure not to miss out too! Here’s a few that we might easily overlook.

With the country on lockdown and many of us self-isolating, we all have unaccustomed amounts of time at home at present. At the same time, lots of local small businesses will be trying to make some sort of living if they can, enough just to tide them over. And we need ways to occupy ourselves that don’t just involve binge-watching box sets. So in this article we are combining 12 ways to support those small business and also have some fun at home.
