Sporting opportunities for girls on Women’s Day THE Making an Impact through Sport (Mits) programme will be holding coaching clinics for girls on Tuesday 9 August in the Portlands Indoor Centre, from 09:00 until 15:00. The clinics are for girls from 13 to 16 years old in basketball, sevens touch rugby and there will also be an under12 and under14 football tournament. The Mits program will run in conjunction with volunteers from Coaching For Hope and the University of Madrid in Spain. For more information call Keith Meyer on 079 597 0012.
