






























JOHN RUSSELL CAIN
DECATUR, IN - John Russell Cain, 71, died Monday, February 24, 2025 at his home. He was born January 1, 1954 in Des Arc, Arkansas.
John had been the owner-operator of BC Contractors, then a corrections officer at various state prisons in Wisconsin and Indiana and most recently, he was employed by FedEx in New Haven, Indiana. He was a member of the American Legion Post #43 in Decatur and the American Legion Post #43 Riders. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed every minute spent on his bike. John was a veteran having served as a Captain in the US Army.
He is survived by one son, David Cain of Decatur, two daughters: Heather (Volker) Kurz of Oakland, California and Heaven Mowbray of Winamac, Indiana, four grandchildren, and siblings: Daniel Cain of Wauconda, Illinois, Christopher (Linda) Cain and Douglas Cain, both of Boulder, Colorado and Carolyn (Glenn) Howard of Roanoke, Virginia. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Sue (Pinkerton) Anderson, one daughter, Jessica Cain and one brother, William Cain.
Visitation from 2-3pm on Monday, March 3, at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel. Burial was in the Eagle Creek Cemetery in Knox, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post #43 Color Guard through Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home.

LOUIS A. ROZHON
SAN PIERRE, IN - Louis A. “Louie” Rozhon, 71, died Sunday, February 23,2025 in La Porte Hospital in La Porte, Indiana. He was born March 5, 1954 in Knox, Indiana to the late Cyril and Dorothy Rozhon.
Louie was a 1972 graduate of Kankakee Valley High School and had worked for Gumz Farms for many years. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved the Chicago Cubs and attending their games.
He is survived by three brothers: Raymond of North Judson, Indiana, Larry (Penny) and Frank, both of San Pierre and one sister, Linda (David) Eckert of North Judson.
Friends and family gathered on Friday, February 28 at the O’Donnell Funeral Home.

ROBERT E. OLEJNICZAK
KNOX, IN - Robert E. “Bob” Olejniczak, 73, died Tuesday, February 25, 2025. He was born March 10, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Edwin and Margaret Olejniczak.
Bob was a proud Vietnam veteran, cabinet maker, delivery driver, mechanic and maintenance man. He was an avid deer hunter, fisherman and he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, two children: Amanda and Rob and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Maryann.
A dinner will be held for his celebration of life at 1pm CT on Sunday, March 9 at the Washington Township Building.

DARLENE K. MELLON
FRANCESVILLE, IN - Darlene K. Mellon, 75, died at 8:57pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Franciscan Health Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. She was born March 30, 1949, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Harold and Marjorie (Roe) Rich. On November 24, 1972 in Monroe, Indiana, she married Charles R. “Chuck” Mellon, Jr. Darlene was a 1967 graduate of Adams Central High School and completed her undergraduate and Master’s of Education from Purdue University. She was a lifelong educator with a career that spanned 36 1/2 years, starting at North White and retiring from West Central. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and supported her kids and
grandkids in all of their sports and activities. She enjoyed cooking, decorating for holidays, baking. She had served on numerous local boards and committees.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck, one son, Tyson (Jennifer) Mellon, one daughter, Tiffany (Michael) Holle, all of Francesville, six grandchildren, one brother, Larry (Pam) Rich of Carmel, Indiana and two sisters: Cynthia Strahammer of Monroe and Karla (Steve) Davis of Leesburg, Virginia.
Services were held Monday, March 3, at the First Christian Church of Francesville, with Elder Kyle Zarse officiating. Burial was in the Roseland Cemetery in Francesville. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeWise Academy-West Central or West Central Schools Educational Foundation.

MILDRED I. WHITE
WINAMAC, IN - Mildred I. White, 96, died Saturday, March 1, 2025 at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello, Indiana. She was born April 5, 1928, in Culver, Indiana to the late Vance and Daisy (Burris) Kiser. On December 28, 1946, in Wolcott, Indiana, she married Carl A. White. He died June 5, 1995.
Mildred was a longtime member of Tippecanoe Christian Church in Winamac. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking, quilting and fishing. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by three daughters: Linda Laffoon of Mulberry, Indiana, Joyce White of Winamac and Sue (Donald) Hall of Kentucky, one son, James White of Lafayette, seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one great grandson, Tyler Lee Floyd, one great granddaughter, Destiny Marie Floyd, five brothers: Wayne, Don, Jack, Keith and Tom Kiser and two sisters: Betty Woolridge and Judy Leach.
Visitation will be from 11am-1pm EST on Thursday, March 6 at the Tippecanoe Christian Church with services starting at 1pm with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Tippecanoe Cemetery in Winamac. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tippecanoe Cemetery.

GLENN VINCENT FULLERS JR.
KNOX, IN - Glenn Vincent Fullers Jr., 37, died Monday, February 24, 2025 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born March 24, 1987 in Birkley, California to Glenn V. Fuller and the late Ashia Archie.
Glenn enjoyed playing video games and going to the shooting range. He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle of Knox, two daughters: Kiara ZenoFuller of Brentwood, California and Danae’sha Fuller of Birkley, his father, Glenn Sr. of Oakley, California, two brothers: Kemani Fuller of Castro Valley, California and Zyion Fuller of Oakley and two sisters: Dejanee Fuller of Oakland, California and Zyiah Fuller of Oakley.
Friends will be received 10am till time of service at 1pm on Wednesday, March 5 at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel. Contributions may be made to the family.
