ark your calendars! Preparations are underway for the eighth annual charity Break-a-thon to be held Saturday, May 5. Over the years we have raised nearly $85,000 for local charities. Representatives from Project HOPE Foundation will visit the school on Wednesday, April 25, to kick-off this annual event. We have added many fun, new elements this year that will culminate with the breaking of 2,012 boards. Break-a-thon is a fantastic event that
would not be possible without the tremendous support of our sponsors and many volunteers. Detailed information will be available in April, but please see Mrs. Kim if you are interested in any of our sponsorship or volunteer opportunities.
Participants enjoy the aftermath of the 2010 Break-athon, at which 2,010 boards were broken and thousands of dollars raised to support Project HOPE Foundation.
