Connecting with the Land
"I gained a special appreciation for the balance of our rights as human beings and the rights of the land and its inhabitants." - Mark Webster
Mark was one of 557 volunteers who got up close and personal with the unique public lands of eastern Oregon by taking part in an ONDA-led stewardship trip in 2018.

By working on trails that hadn’t been maintained for decades, Mark made the desert safer and more accessible for hikers, hunters, equestrians and cyclists.
All throughout the high desert, fish and wildlife habitat is much healthier, thanks to volunteers who made streams more inviting for beavers, pulled out gnarly barbed-wire fences and more.
