'Lest We Forget' Paintings by Patrick Waldemar

Page 1

Lest we forget Thanks to Slaves and Sugar, life was sweet in ‘the Empire where the sun never sets’. Under Moonlight however, molasses became brown sugar became light sugar and life not as sweet. Their sun has set, the old ways burnt, Pomp and circumstance no longer rule the day. Those who once followed, today proudly go their own way. Crying, “Bun it down”

Burning the way for a new harvest
