WELCOME On behalf of the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association, welcome to the 2012 Adidas/VSP OCAA Women’s Fastball Championship. I would like to take a moment to congratulate all the players and coaches across the OCAA for their hard work and commitment to excellence this year. It has been a great season with some outstanding performances as we anticipate an exciting finish at Seneca College this weekend. I would also like to thank the staff at Seneca College for all of their time and effort in organizing this tournament, as well as Ted Beale for all of his efforts in the portfolio of Women’s Fastball Senior Convenor. Good luck to all, Blair Webster Executive Director Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Congratulations to all of the teams and players that qualified for the 2012 Adidas/VSP OCAA Women’s Fastball Championship. It has been a great year for OCAA fastball with several pitching gems mixed in with some potent offensive displays. Playing through adverse weather conditions is part of the deal in the OCAA and each team has proved they have thick skin. A special thanks to the coaches who manage their large rosters and prepare their athletes for competition in a very condensed fall season. I am most proud of the student-athletes who balance very demanding academic programs, family, social and varsity intercollegiate fastball. Good luck to all the participants. Play hard and slide safe. Ted Beale Women’s Fastball Senior Convenor Ontario Colleges Athletic Association

WELCOME On behalf of Seneca College, welcome to the 2012 Adidas/VSP OCAA Women’s Fastball Championship! Our host committee and the Seneca Student Athletic Association have rolled up their sleeves to provide our student-athletes, coaches and spectators an entertaining weekend of competitive women’s fastball action. Seneca has a deep tradition in OCAA women’s fastball both as a founding member in 1981 and as a six-time OCAA fastball champion. We proudly host this championship and offer a hearty congratulations to the schools represented here this weekend. The STING greatly appreciate the generous contributions of our sponsor partners and would like to thank Adidas and VSP for their critical role in the successful hosting of this championship.
