Within the first five games, the Lady Vikings beat Atkins 64-21, Forsyth Country Day 55-47, and Reagan 60-47. This was an exemplary start to the season, but the team didn’t stop there. They are closing out the season with wins against Southern Guilford 51-43, Northeast Guilford 59-54, and Southwestern Randolph 52-47. With just a few more make-up games to play because of inclement weather, the Lady Vikings will hopefully finish up with a bang. It has definitely been a great season so far and will likely continue to be so. The triumphs on the court and within the team have made this a model year for the Lady Vikings. Mr. Armstrong

“I think we have improved tremendously throughout the years. We worked extremely hard, and we’ve earned a good reputation for the Lady Vikings,“ said senior Kayla Adams of the North Forsyth Ladies’ Varsity Basketball Team. With the team already boasting wins against Atkins, Forsyth Country Day, Reagan, Southern Guilford, Northeast Guilford, and Southwestern Randolph, it seems that this statement rings true. “This year is going great; we are doing better than we used to. We work well as a team and all get along. This year we could be first place in our conference, which will be the first time in a long time,” commented Brittany Allen.
