Summer Day Camp Dates June 4th - July 27th, 2012

Pure Summer Fun Each morning, activities will center around our thematic units with lots of fun, hands-on learning through arts & crafts as well as language & culture activities. Afternoons will include field trips and special recreational activities, recess, computer lab, and free time to be social with friends. Plenty of outdoor playtime and daily physical activities will keep your camper fit and make each day fun!

A Place to be Active... The New School’s campus offers excellent facilities for summer fun indoors and out. Our campers’ days are filled with stimulating activities that build physical awareness and self esteem. Recreational activities take place inside our gym or on our spacious outdoor playground facilities and playing fields.

An Environment to be Creative... Each summer unit will consist of fun, hands-on morning activities based on the unit theme. Campers will learn by doing through cooking, crafting, drawing, painting, exploring, sharing, and playing.

A Time to be Social... Each summer day at The New School balances structured activities with free time to let campers choose their own activities with friends. After each day’s afternoon activity, campers spend the rest of the day in a relaxed, social environment with recess, computer lab, and free art time. There is truly something for everyone at The New School’s Summer Day Camp.
